This is a video to honor those who died when the government cleared the Red Shirt protesters from the streets, specifically Ratchaprasong Intersection, on May 19, 2010. Beware that this video shows many dead and mutiliated bodies. The Red Shirts were protesting the government of Abhisit Vejajiva  According to Wikipedia: “The UDD [Red Shirts] called for Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva to dissolve parliament and hold elections earlier than the end of term elections scheduled in 2012.” More than 80 civilians and 6 soldiers were killed, and more than 2,100 injured during the protests, especially on May 19. The Thai Alliance for Human Rights believes that Thailand should join the International Criminal Court to hold its future governments accountable for any crimes against humanity. This will help prevent future massacres.

WARNING THIS VIDEO SHOWS DEAD AND MUTILATED BODIES

However many months and years pass down the stream it never changes me
Even if change happens, it doesn’t change the fight for the dream of our day

The entire road along this way, I still have friends on every occasion
They are fighters of the people on the road of Democracy

Even amidst the sound of gunfire, we fight to the end with determination
We are alumni of Ratchaprasong. We are the crowds of people who sacrifice themselves

However many lives, arms and legs, and eyes that depart from this world
Even if no one comes to admire, still you, right there, are a hero
