Note: This song, posted June 16, 2020, is no doubt a reaction to the assassination of Wanchalearm Satsaksit, a Thai political refugee disappeared from Cambodia on June 4, 2020. His abduction in a city in broad daylight was witnessed by many, including his sister, who he was talking to on the phone at the time. The last words she recognized from him were, “I can’t breathe.” Sources told reporter Andrew MacGregor Marshall that King Vajiralongkorn ordered the killing in order to scare the activists protesting against him in Germany, although Wanchalearm had nothing to do with those protests. The palace had no comment. This 9th recent assassination of a Thai political refugee in a country neighboring Thailand, on top of the 8 similar cases that preceeded it, not to mention the threatened assassination of Faiyen band members who finally managed to flee to France, was the spark that caused the students to finally come out in flashmobs throughout Thailand, demanding an end to the dictatorship and harrassment and a new constitution.
